Solange Yepez is a Toronto-based surface pattern and textile designer operating under the studio name Alchemiqa. A graduate of Ryerson University's Fashion Design program, she currently serves as Lead Textile Designer and Product Development Manager at Andrea Iyamah (womenswear brand). Alchemiqa is her freelance practice, available for independent commissions.

Graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design. Discovered pattern design while working as a Junior Designer at Andrea Iyamah. Subsequently completed a short-term credit in Surface Design at the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). Now holds the position of Lead Textile Designer and Product Development Manager at Andrea Iyamah while maintaining Alchemiqa as a parallel freelance studio.
