Carmen Plaza Estudio is a Mexico-based textile design studio founded in 2023 by Carmen Plaza, described as the first studio in Mexico specialising in textile and surface design. Studied fashion design at CIIND in Guadalajara, then completed a Master's in textile and surface design at IED Madrid. Following her studies, she spent five months living between India and Nepal before returning to Mexico to work with Benito Santos as an accessories designer. After several years of freelance work, she founded Carmen Plaza Estudio in 2023.
