Carolina Bastos is a Brazilian designer and illustrator from Rio de Janeiro, currently based in Barcelona where she completed a Master's in illustration at BAU Barcelona. Her work spans surface pattern design, tropical and botanical illustration, and fashion illustration, with a portfolio of client collaborations across Brazilian stationery and lifestyle brands.

Bastos's work is characterised by vivid colour, nature-inspired motifs, and range - from tropical botanical prints to cosmic and celestial themes. Her fashion illustration work (Chloé SS2025 project at BAU) shows a surrealistic, soft-toned feminine register.
