Jinny F is the Hawaii-based designer behind DeyaStudio, a surface pattern and art licensing studio. The studio name "De Ya" (德 雅) is a tribute to her grandfather, combining Chinese characters from both their names and honouring values of diligence and humility. Raised in New York City, Jinny spent 7 years living abroad across the Middle East and Asia before settling in Hawaii. She holds degrees in communication, studio art, and graphic design, and brings over 15 years of branding and advertising experience to her current surface pattern practice.

Heritage motifs from Asian cultures, blue and white porcelain aesthetics, and travel-informed nature imagery are central to DeyaStudio's visual language. The portfolio features a hand-painted quality with botanical and figurative compositions. Two documented collections frame the aesthetic: Heirloom Holiday (graceful songbirds, vintage florals, candy cane stripes, whimsical wreaths - warm and nostalgic) and Faded Treasures (time-worn, cottage-adjacent botanical patterns with a soft vintage palette). Blue and white porcelain is a stated personal favourite.

Hand-drawn and hand-painted motifs finished digitally. Practice spans surface pattern design, art licensing, custom collaborations, and colour/scale adjustments to existing designs. The studio works with clients to develop custom patterns or adapt existing designs to specific project requirements.
