Sofia "Fia" Poejo is a New York-based illustrator and designer, born and raised in NYC, completing her BFA in Illustration at Ringling College of Art and Design (graduating 2026). She is represented for literary work by Analía Cabello at Andrea Brown Literary. Commercial clients include Scholastic (working across Netflix, Dreamworks, Disney, Pokémon, and Warner Brothers properties), Little Moony (apparel design intern), SRQ Magazine, New York Restoration Project, and Mote Aquarium.

The portfolio features a joyful, detailed illustrative aesthetic with a warm, character-driven approach. The work reflects Poejo's stated goal of "positively connecting children with their world through thoughtful, diverse storytelling." Gouache and paper-cut techniques produce a layered, tactile visual quality. Motifs span flora and fauna, cultural imagery, and character-based narratives. Highly proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Procreate, and Google Suite. Strong traditional media skills: gouache, watercolour, acrylic, paper-cut, colour pencil, graphite. Internships at Scholastic (Design for Trade Publishing, 2024) and Little Moony (Apparel Design, 2025) provided direct industry experience in publishing and children's apparel. Recognised by American Illustration Awards (Chosen Artwork, 2025) and Illest of Illustration juried shows. Serves as Artist Alley Club President and Student Ambassador at Ringling.
