Mariana Campos is a Barcelona-based surface pattern designer and founder of Maca Patterns, working at the intersection of fashion and interior design. Originally from Cancun, Mexico, and based in Barcelona since 2010, she blends Latin American visual influences with European design sensibility. She holds a degree in Fashion Design from Escola Superior de Disseny and a Master's in E-commerce from Universidad La Salle Barcelona, and has operated as a freelance surface pattern designer since 2019.

Heritage-led and decorative, with a stated aesthetic combining "the vibrant charm of Mexican-Spanish roots with the timeless elegance of European style." Selected Instagram pattern images suggest botanical and ornamental motifs with warm, richly coloured palettes. Work is designed for multi-surface application: fashion, home textiles, and wallpaper.

Grew up in Cancun, Mexico; moved to Barcelona in 2010. Worked in textile print sales and design (2014-2018), discovering a focus on surface pattern design during this period. In 2018 launched Philomena Intimates, a lingerie and swimwear label using upcycled European fabrics with handmade embroidery produced in Barcelona (operated until 2022). Transitioned to full-time freelance surface pattern design from 2019.
